Dear Friends of White Mountain Mountain Nature Center:

Great news! Gil Alvidrez (6th grade teacher) and I are working with the Nature Center to create some exciting and experiential outdoor lessons to support our science and social studies curricula. We will be piloting a program this year that will eventually be available to all teachers and students in our mountain communities.

Make a Donation

We need your donations to pay our expenses and to complete our site and building goals. While we understand that current economic times are creating hardships for just about everyone, we have financial obligations that cannot be postponed for "better times."

Volunteer!

We can always use a helping hand. Currently, most of our volunteer positions are related to site maintenance and fundraising. As we grow and after our building is complete, we plan to offer volunteer positions in our Nature Center store, as docents, and several other positions.

The Power of Partnerships

The ability of the Nature Center to meet its Mission and Goals will only be as good as the partnerships it forms! This is especially true if it is to become a clearinghouse for all things environmental to serve the entire White Mountains region.

 Our property is located at 425 S. Woodland Rd., Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ, off of Highway 260 in Lakeside, AZ, between the Big Springs Environmental Study Area and the Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex.
